What is the Expected Downtime?
After a Morpheus 8 treatment, the skin may look red, mildly swollen, and feel tight, with a sunburn-like sensation. By the next morning,
swelling and redness typically decrease, though mild redness, scabbing, and itching may occur as the skin heals. By day 3, the area usually appears pink with possible pin point scabbing, and throughout the week,
the skin continues to recover, feeling dry and possibly flaking.
Skin returns to normal within 7-10 days. Makeup can be applied 1-2 days after
the treatment, and minor redness or micro scabs may last for up to a week.
What Kind of Post-Treatment Care is Required?
Patients should moisturize the treatment area and avoid direct sun exposure. It is also recommended that patients use a good, broad spectrum sunscreen every day. In addition to reducing their future risk
